Biography
Psychologist

Marina Rojas Sejas is a psychologist at FUBE, providing services to children, adolescents, and families. She specializes in systemic family therapy, supports legal processes for the target population, and assists their family environments.
Previously, she worked as a consultant providing psychological care to patients at “Centro de Hemodiálisis José E. Gutiérrez M.”, part of Clínica Olivos. Her responsibilities included conducting interviews, offering emotional support to hemodialysis patients, and accompanying home visits with a psychological focus.
Before that, Marina served as an individual consultant psychologist for the Autonomous Municipal Government of Cochabamba in the Department for the Elderly, providing professional services in this area.
She also worked as a psychologist at the “Centro de Acogida Villa Infantil Nueva Esperanza”, where she conducted psychological evaluations for children and adolescents, provided individual and collective psychological care, implemented alternative therapies, prepared psychological reports, and developed Life Projects, Individual Development Plans (PDI), and Family Development Plans (PDF). Marina also monitored young individuals in their professional training stages based on their life projects and provided vocational guidance.
Additionally, Marina worked as a consultant for “Save The Children Cochabamba” and “Defensoría de la Niñez y Adolescencia Cochabamba”, assisting in the creation of case care protocols and pathways under Law 548.
She also served as a Family Development Advisor for the Foster Care Service in Tiquipaya with “Aldeas Infantiles SOS Bolivia”, a nonprofit organization that implements programs to care for children, adolescents, and young people, offering comprehensive support for those in situations of orphanhood and/or abandonment and working to prevent child abandonment.
Marina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Universidad Mayor of San Simón, Cochabamba, Bolivia. She also obtained a Diploma in Analysis and Prevention of Structural Violence: Gender/Race/Class, from Universidad Salesiana, Bolivia. Marina also has a Diploma in Systemic Relational Intervention with Dysfunctional Families from Universidad Mayor of San Simón.
