Psychologist

Lida Blanca Mamani Chura hails from La Paz and holds a degree in Psychology from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón, Cochabamba. Her professional journey has allowed her to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, giving her valuable experience in various settings.
In 2023, she volunteered at “Mosoj Runitas,” a therapeutic care center for children and adolescents who are victims of sexual violence and other forms of violence. Additionally, she served as a volunteer psychologist at the “Children and Adolescents Protection Office” (Defensoría de la Niñez y Adolescencia) in District 6 of Sacaba. These experiences deepened her interest in and awareness of the importance of creating spaces for reflection and dialogue about sexuality as a crucial aspect of human development. They also motivated her to provide information and tools regarding sexual violence to children, adolescents, youth, and adults, empowering them to become active agents in addressing this issue.
Currently, she works at FUBE as the head of the Prevention Department. This role has enabled her to achieve her professional goal of delivering group discussions and workshops on the topic of “Preventing Sexual Violence Against Children and Adolescents.” She engages with various audiences, including schools, centers, higher education institutions, and public officials.
