Biography
Psychologist

Doris is a therapist psychologist. She has supported children, adolescents, and families who are victims of sexual violence in their psycho-emotional recovery process as part of the psychology team at FUBE in Cochabamba since 2016 to the present.
Her master’s degree enabled her to learn and incorporate the most up-to-date content related to neuroscience and scientific psychology. Upon returning to her country, she worked towards improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable populations, particularly children and adolescents.
At FUBE, she received the necessary training for the transdisciplinary care of sexual violence cases, from a trauma-informed and sensitive perspective. She complemented her training with courses in various trauma intervention methodologies such as EMDR, Sandplay Therapy, family systems therapy, restorative and trauma-sensitive yoga, music therapy, and meditation.
She firmly believes in the goodness and love as innate qualities in human beings, and that the protection of childhood—of children and adolescents—is essential as a key factor in violence prevention actions.
